Local notes
Whether you are wrapping a family home in a town estate or a larger detached property, we plan access, vents and service alterations before works begin so there are fewer surprises on site.
Meath projects often combine wrap works with attic upgrades needed for Part L / grant drawdown. We sequence those tasks so the SEAI Declaration of Works stays straightforward.
The steps we follow for every wrap
This is the same operational sequence set out in our project roadmap, from feasibility through to the SEAI completion process.
We inspect the property, identify which walls can be wrapped externally and check extensions, reveals, sills, vents and access.
We set out the system, thickness, finish options, sill replacement, ventilation, scaffolding and any relevant upgrades.
The client reviews and accepts the agreed scope, specification, contract value, payment terms and estimated duration.
Where using the SEAI route, grant conditions are reviewed, the homeowner applies and accepts the offer before grant-supported work begins.
Scaffold is erected, walls are prepared, sills are replaced, insulation and mesh system are fitted, then the chosen finish is applied.
The BER and required declaration paperwork are completed for the grant file, followed by the homeowner grant claim.

How do Meath homeowners start a wrap quote?
Use the quote page with your Meath Eircode and elevation photos. We review the outside first, then schedule a survey only where a wrap is realistic.
Do you handle SEAI paperwork for Meath projects?
We guide the homeowner portal steps and provide the contractor ID and project records SEAI expects. You apply and select Energy Retrofit Horizons Ltd trading as externalwrap.ie as the registered contractor.
